In 1980 all hell breaks loose for Gyllene. "Flickorna på TV2" becomes a monster hit. The follow-up "Ska vi älska så ska vi älska till Buddy Holly" is almost as big. Per rewrites it in English and sends it to Paul McCartney, who owns the rights to Buddy's music. He never hears from Paul. "Gyllene Tider" sells a LOT.
